This programme involves a direct interaction between the teacher and student to inculcate and improve better study habits, character formation, interpersonal relationship, intellectual development of the students and also to enhance student- teacher relationship as well.
This committee was formed during the academic year 2013-2014. Each teacher per semester is assigned with 10-12 students for mentoring. The mentor meets the students in a semester. The mentee details is recorded and kept in a mentoring sheet by the mentor after every meeting. The mentor motivates and provides substantial support and advice to the students. Mentoring interactions brings about a positive impact on the students vocational and intellectual development.
