The Department of Animation and Graphic Design at Santhigiri College of Computer Sciences organized a Calligraphy Workshop on 18th February 2026. The session was conducted by renowned calligraphy artist Narayana Bhattathiri.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the art of beautiful writing and enhance their creative lettering skills. The resource person provided an insightful demonstration of various calligraphy techniques, tools, and styles. Participants were given hands-on practice sessions where they learned stroke formation, pen control, spacing, and composition.
The session was highly interactive and engaging. Students actively participated, clarified their doubts, and experimented with different calligraphy styles under expert guidance. The workshop not only improved their technical skills but also inspired them to explore typography and creative design in greater depth.
