The Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness Club (IDEA Club )focuses on generating and developing creative ideas, fostering innovation, and providing a platform for students to collaborate on various projects and initiatives. The club is often centred around entrepreneurship, innovation, and problem- solving. IDEA Club aim to encourage students to think creatively, explore new concepts, and turn their ideas into tangible projects or businesses. HISTORY

The IDEA Club at Santhigiri College had its humble beginnings in the year 2018. Conceived as a platform to encourage students to explore their creative and innovative potential. Idea Club aim to encourage students to think creatively, explore new concepts, and turn their ideas into projects or businesses.As 2022 rolled in, the IDEA Club underwent a significant transformation and in 2022 the IDEA Club entered a new era as it achieved full functionality with the collaborative effort between the SIRC, Idea Club, ED Club, IR, Departments and SHIP Club.

OBJECTIVES

1. Promote Creativity : Foster a culture of creativity and encourage members to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.

Working Procedure of the IDEA Club

The Idea Club at Santhigiri College of Computer Sciences, operating under the umbrella of the Santhigiri Interdisciplinary Research Centre (SIRC), plays a crucial role in research,fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative problem-solving among our college community. The working procedure of the Idea Club involves several key steps:

1. Idea Generation : The Idea Club welcomes creative ideas from different sources, primarily the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club, Innovation and Research (IR) and various department initiatives within the college.
2. Idea Submission : Students are encouraged to submit their innovative ideas to the Idea Club for evaluation and further development.
3. Initial Idea Review : The Idea Club initiates an evaluation process to assess the viability and potential impact of the submitted ideas. This review aims to ensure that the ideas align with the club's mission and objectives.
4. Approval and Forwarding : If an idea is deemed promising and in line with the club's goals, it is approved and forwarded to the SIRC. This collaboration with SIRC facilitates the realization of socially impactful projects. If the concept shows promise, SIRC will proceed to forward it to the SHIP club for further consideration.
5. Project Development :TThe SHIP provides the necessary resources, mentorship, and support to take the approved ideas and turn them into tangible projects.
6. Continual Innovation :The process continues with a focus on generating and implementing new ideas, fostering a culture of innovation, and nurturing a community of students passionate about creativity and social impact.

This working procedure demonstrates the collaborative effort between the SIRC, Idea Club, ED Club, IPR, Departments and SHIP Club to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive social change within the college community.
