Observation Visit

Objectives By adding observations of the surrounding world to scenes animators will bring a sense of reality that will make their characters come to life.

S2 BA students went to Hill palace, Trippunithura on Dec 10th for their observation visit. Ms. Ciciliamma J. Perumpanany, Mr. Manu VG and Mr. Joyal Reji guided the students. They started from the college at 9.00 am and reached back by 6.00 pm

Convocation Ceremony

Objectives The objective of the graduation ceremony is to celebrate students who have successfully met the academic requirements for graduation. The ceremony provides a public venue in which graduating students receive their diplomas and marking their official graduation.

Annual Convocation of final year students was held on 22nd June 2019. The Chief guest for the Convocation was Rev. Fr. Paul Parekkattil, CMI, Provincial, Carmel Province Muvatupuzha. Ms. Sonja Nueske, Social Work Manager (United Kingdom/Germany Child Protection Services [Government]), Fr. Dr. Jaison Paul Mulerikkal, CMI, Chief Principal Jyothi Engineering College, Trissur. Program started at 9.30 am and gathering of all the passing out Animation and Graphic Design students and their parents were honoured with the course completion certificates. The programme concluded with lunch for all participating guests, students, parents and faculty members by 2.00 pm.

Inauguration of Academic Year 2019-20

Objectives This program aims to provide a good starts of 2019-20 for third year and second year students

The Official inauguration of the academic year 2019-20 was organized on 06/06/2019 of third year students and 12/06/2019 of second year students at the college auditorium. The event started with the traditional lamp lighting by Manager Fr. Mathew Kalappura CMI. Fr.Dr.Boby Antony CMI, Principal, delivered message in which he emphasized the student that planning, strong will and determination are the essential requirements to fulfill their objectives and success in life. Guest – Sri. Jaya Prakash, Officer, Central Secretariat Service give Message about the good starting of an academic year. All the second year and third year students participated in the program and program was concluded by Santhigiri Anthem.

Induction program

Objectives This program intended to integrate the new starter into their team and familiarise the students with Santhgiri College, It also aimed to educate the student about institutional goals and values, Facilities and rules and regulations.

The Induction program of academic year 2019-20 was conducted on 24/06/2019 at the college Indoor Stadium. Reception and Registration of new entrants started from 9.15 AM onwards. Students seated from the front rows and parents from the back rows in the indoor stadium.BCA volunteers will guide each student and parents to their seating positions. Teachers are seated in between parents and students are for Teachers and Printed sheets of program’s prayer distributed by the volunteers to all people gathered in the auditorium. Candles distributed only to teachers and to the newly admitted students.Principal, Vice Principal, Manager and all the HOD’s seated in front rows at the beginning and will be invited to the stage after prayer dance. Teachers were requested to come forward and lineup in the middle passages at the time of lamp lightning ceremony. Soon after lightning the lamp, when HOD’s comes down with the lighted candles, to light the teachers candles. Teachers were requested to go through each row of students and light their candles and then reassemble and lineup in the middle passage for prayer session. After prayer they can go back to their respective seats. Refreshment packets distributed on each seat after Santhigiri Anthem. After food BA Animation students and parents were directed to MBA Block where their departmental orientation is going to held. Head of the Department, Mrs. Bijimol TK gave orientation about the college and Mr. Manu VG conducted course based orientation.

Fresher’s Day Program

Objectives The very purpose of Freshers Day party is to welcome newcomers in a friendly atmosphere and avoid social evils, to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence.It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college.

Fresher’s Day Program was conducted on 10/07/2019 and it was as a memorable day in the life of every fresher. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The celebration started at sharp 10.00 am at seminar hall and anchors gave warm welcome to all the dignitaries present in the function. This was followed by the welcome speech. Student’s introduction was done inorder to identify the interests and talents of the students. Later a team on the stage conducted games and cultural show. Finally there was a batch wise dance performance and program concluded by 12.45 with food distribution.

Animation Exhibition

Objectives Animation and Graphics Design exhibition was held on the 26th July 2019. Exhibition started at 9.30 am in front of the college where students showcased their talents on creativity and innovation. Graphics Design work and Caricatures were displayed in college courtyard and video works were displayed in digital screen placed opposite of office.
