Objectives The workshop explicitly focuses on the context because the successful implementation of generically described teaching methods in units of learning heavily depends on the context. Workshop is defined as assembled group of ten to twenty five persons who share a common interest or problem. They meet together to improve their individual skill of a subject through intensive study, research, practice and discussion.
A one day workshop on Photoshop was conducted by the Dept. of Animation and Graphics Design for S3 A BCA on 28-06-2019, for S3 BCA B on 19-07-2019 and for MBA students on 19/08/2019. The workshop on Photoshop was explained with the very basic tools on how to get started and effective uses of tools. A hands- on- demo was depicted concurrently along with the explanations on how to edit a picture that was selected. After the demonstration of each tool and effects, the students had the same implemented on the systems. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Ashly Sebastian, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Animation and Graphics design and 10 students from S5 BA and S3 BA. Around 115 students attended the workshop.
Aiming to provide an intense training on three dimensional animation for third year and second year Animation students, two-day workshop on ‘Three Dimensional Animation Techniques” was held on 26/07/2019 and 02/03/2020. Dept. of Animation hosted the event. The Resource Persons, Mr. Rakesh G,Chief Faculty, Animation & Multimedia, Cindrebay School of Design Kozhikode, took the session on designing methods of three dimensional animation in this workshop.
One day workshop on MS office is conducted on 19th July 2019. Participants were S3 BA students.The workshop on MS Office was explained with packages such as MS Office, MS Excel and MS Power point. The workshop was conducted by students from S5 BCA. 30 students from S3 BA Animation attended the workshop.
